Concept and design for the snake catchers' village. Lighting and key art for village sunrise scene.
It was a concept painting to experiment the mood for this village inside the gorge. Then it became a key shot and stay into the final shot of the film. It was fun exploring how a village stay in the gorge with full on red maple trees. And how to keep a mood like traditional Chinese painting while having sunlight on the area.
